This year's PSEA House of Delegates conference in December has been CANCELLED. The workers at the Sheraton Hotel in Philly were on strike and did not reach a resolution by Oct 31st. As a result we have cancelled the conference as we will not cross a picket line. Support organized labor!

During the October general membership meeting, some proposed changes to the bylaws were put forward, and are currently being evaluated. If they are deemed feasible, they will be voted on for inclusion at a later date. Those proposed changes are:

• Dividing the role of Secondary Contract Specialist into Contract Specialist: Middle School and Contract Specialist: High School

• Investigating options to make it easier for secondary teachers to participate in AEA meetings and voting, due to being first in the district's staggered release times.
